Hello!

Can someone tell me how to put VST plugins in SAM broadcaster or winamp?

I want to put VST plugin into SAM chain after SS processor
but with VST-host i've had some crash troubles.

What kind of VST plugin do you recommend?

Thanks!

If you're loading VST HOST in MuchFX2 -- thats normal for it to crash.

Try Multiple DSP Plugin v1.01 - http://www.musiclivesonline.com/software/multdsp.html

It worked for me  Grin

By the way -->  There is no other VST HOST plugin for Winamp

Lots of VST's out there to enjoy - THATS for sure, but unless you do alot of MIDI,
(which makes up about two thirds of VST's) the ones you'd be interested in are
limiters, compressors, equalizers and of course the denormalizer. <wink>

There are several threads that have VST info in them.

Sad Huh Tongue
Don't post just with smilies....  and don't double post either.   Double posting with just smilies makes me want to mute you for a few weeks. Wink

Anyways, yes, you can chain VST plugins in winamp a few ways.  the one i like best is:

AdaptX directx plugin chainer winamp plugin
http://www.chronotron.com/content.php?page=products#adaptx

DirectiXer vst to directx plugin converter
http://www.tonewise.com/

So open DirectiXer, convert a VST (as many as you want) to DirectX.  Load Adapt-X plugin into Winamp, click on "+" button, and the the DirectX version of the VST plugin which will show up.  Add it to the chain.  There you go. Smiley

You can also save plugin settings in Adapt-X, and save the whole chain of plugins & settings. Smiley

It`s not a VST, it is a DSP plugin but i like it`s power. If you tune it well, it won`t distort and it really has the power to dramatically increase your sound. Its DFX. You can find it here: http://www.fxsound.com/
