I absolutely love the program!! It emulates the sound I have been looking for... for a long time!!
What I basically want to do is run a software mixer through it such as Virtual DJ, and listen to myself.

I only have the 1.31 Winamp Version and I have tried the XAP trial version, but like the rest of us its spendy. (I would pay the price, If i could get it to work.

It works great to play MP3's and capture the sound with Audacity. And I have been able to process a streamed radio station as well. (I have even thought about streaming to my own pc, but that may be pointless.)

Playing MP3's work fantastic in Winamp but like others, I am having a problem getting live sound into it so SS will process it coming out.

I have tried the Lineinput plugin, but that produces feedback and echo and even pc crashes.

So I got a second sound card. No Luck. Same effect...PC freezes and or echo and feedback.

Here is my setup.

Running Windows XP
2  2.4ghz Processors
8G Ram

& Now 2 sound cards.

Any Ideas? Or can someone tell me how they have it configured so they can hear themselves live. Or can you only use it as an after effect while streaming.

Which way works best?

Since the SS community is kind of... moved on already... seemingly including Alessandro...  I'm starting to feel less & less bad about recommending a product that I've been involved with for the last 3+ years now. Smiley

It's an amazing processor for any price.  (actually, the digital tv hardware version runs $15,000, and is used on the SuperBowl, Olympics, Grammy's, Academy Awards, etc...  about 75% of all major digital tv broadcast uses it)  There's even a $29 consumer version.  If that's not literally insanely cheap, then I haven't found a better example yet.
