Line In Plugin

Hi, I've been using SS 1.31 for a while now on my standard home PC with standard in-built soundcard perfectly BUT now I am trying  to install it on my dedicated "Music" PC I'm having problems getting SS to work live.......I'm finding it very hard to configure my M-Audio Delta sound card to work properly with linein and SS.   It will play perfectly with files already on my PC but can't get it to work running through the PC.....I've been messing with the settings all week and I'm on the verge of giving up....I'm even getting levels going through SS but nothing coming out now?

Any help would be appreciated.

are you using Jasper's Line-In v180 ?

Yes....it works fine on my home PC.
Not on my Music one with different sound card....

Try this input plugin (attached), it's uber-rare and old, made by Nullsoft... it uses whatever the default soundcard is on the computer, but it might work.

Also try using either of them with the null-output plugin, if that's possible. (but as you're not using it only for streaming, i doubt that's an option)

Hi Jess....thanks for your help so far......

I've installed the plug-in you gave me and it sees and plays the input perfectly in winamp/SS but I can't get a sound output.....

I've tried every setting in my Mixer and the only sound I get get is the unprocessed sound......I've even installed the plugin you gave me on my PC with the working SS and I'm getting the same prob there!

P.S....I'm using Nullsoft WaveOut Output V2.11 [out_wave.dll] & Nullsoft DirectSound Output V.2.47 [out_ds.dll] - on my working PC with SS
& Just Nullsoft WaveOut Output V2.11 [out_wave.dll] on th eother one I'm trying to get working.
