This is my latest preset Eldorado FM V1.5 (ss$5.dat), what do you think about it?
I've also added the previous verions. Is V1.5 the best one? If this is the best one, i'll soon delete the other presets. If you like another preset, let me know.

I was testing your presets. The first need correct properly the AGC threshold...I made it and test it the 5 presets. In my opinion is better the v1.4, but 1.5 maybe is more clean...It is a matter of taste or needness. Personally Im looking for a preset that fit with my need that beat or reach the loudness and quality of an Orban 8100 in my town... With SS2.0 and the presets found here my station sounds better that the orban's station but at the same time is 2-4 db below the orban's... My goal is reach the same loudness and keep the audio quality at the same time...maybe it will imposible with SS and my today setup...
Maybe my equipment lies with the sound balance but almost all presets here have more bass that the rest...The Orban sounds with better and more clarity voices and hi-end that SS...and the bass is deep and open...that sound its impossible to reach keeping the same loudness with SS. If I have time I will upload a sample of the station with the orban and other sample with the SS2.0 sounding in my station with some presets download here...What do you think guys?

or maybe not  Undecided
Keep doing good job.

@grb - Please send us your favorite preset.

yes grb, it would be nice to get longer samples, like 30 minutes of each your station and the 8100.

maybe it will be.  you NEED composite clipping to get as loud as the 8100 because it's using it too.  I've recommended the Modulation Sciences CP 803 before, because you can find them used for decent prices.  using that you will get louder AND cleaner than an 8100.

but actually, if you want to, what i can suggest is trying to buy a used Optimod 8000.  they have almost the same final section, and you can mod it so that you're inputting right into the pre-emphasis section in it (bypassing the limiters), and get an MPX out from that.

Now is not possible for me to buy and MS CP803.  Cry
I upload here the 30 minutes samples:
This the Orban 8100: http://rapidshare.com/files/87196605/95.3__Orban_8100_.mp3.html(by the way its distorting a lot now...overdeviation, bad quality mp3 and ground noise)
This is my station: http://rapidshare.com/files/87201480/92.3__SS2.0_MassMurderer005_.mp3.html(SS2.0 @MassMurderer005 preset)

If they have Orban 8100 then they also have no idea, how the radio station would sound with better modifications. And you mentioned background noise. Too much of it.
I'm sorry but your mod with Mass Murderer is way much better. It's not so loud but still you can listen with no pain in the ear. Just the modification of output level and this is it. And one more thing, try not to compress too much multiband, and later try to raise volume with clip driver.

Greetings!

Yes I know, my station sound a lot better. My goal is reach that loudness without distortion. By the way the preset used is Mass Murderer 005 by JesseG without modifications.

he's currently testing an FM 75uS specific preset made by me, from Mass Murderer v0.07...  and no, while these presets don't have the new DRM scheme I figured out yet, they are not free to the public.  Sorry.

btw, check this out... from the current DAB version of Mass Murderer just starting development (surprisingly it will get a lot better than this)

i will have a way for you to get free trials of my presets in the coming months.  not to worry. Smiley

I did the test too. Same thing on my D@B 0.4 and I must say, I
found the exact results or on some points even higher results on output valleys then yours.

Yep, me too.  I purposefully picked source material that wasn't limited very hard.  I'm only hitting the final clippers about 1db on that passage, and the final output is at 93% to avoid additional digital clipping.

I must say the preview of your upcoming preset sounds pretty nice.  Cool
