I need some help creating a volume leveler preset in sound solution 1.31

Here is my setup
Music From Winamp with SS on Computer 1-> Line In on Computer 2 -> Winamp with Line In Plugin and SS -> Txer

I want to automatically raise or lower the volume of songs being played on the SS at computer 1 so that there is a nice smooth level going into computer 2. Thanks in advance

If all you need is volume leveling, I\'de recommend a simpler plugin, like Piettro Pro\'s RockSteady
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=1099
and here\'s how mine\'s set basically for good (i use it to lvl the volume of videos in winamp)

but if you need to use SS, i would just recommend turning off all functions you don\'t need, disable the 3 multiband processes, turn all \"overdrive\" settings to 0db.  the only thing you want is the 1st AGC.

then you can try these settings on the AGC;
Gate db: -14db
Max Gain: 9db (or whatever max gain u want)
On: button down
APF: button down
15KLP: button up

then set the final output level % so it doesn\'t clip your soundcard, and you should be set.

(can u tell rocksteady is easier to use for this simple purpose yet? Wink )

Jesseg. How can I disabled the 2band limiter in SS and/or how can adjust for volumen leveling. My all files are replaygainded to 92db but its too low for webcasting, I need to up this level but with the use of minimal processing or with other plugin alike Piettros. My needs is an agc and very a final clipper o limiter

in sound solution...  make the AGC threshold lower so it doesn't gate as much, and then increase the AGC max gain if needed.

Just to bump this back up... could you set the multiband section to work really lightly, so it was almost effectively a Multiband AGC?

Slow down the rates.  I recommend slowing down release 1 in the multiband, on bands 2-5.  If you slow down the release on band1 you'll lose the thump humping that can make up for treble being loud.  And if you slow down the release on band2 too much you'll lose the warmth of the preset.

And generally in most well designed presets, they shouldn't sound too gain-rushy in the middle frequencies.  I tend to go for more compression and slight yet well placed limiting, in the middle.  Balanced compression & limiting on the bass.  And less compression and more limiting up top.
